Election Night Statement:
First and foremost – thank you to everyone! For your kind wishes, your votes, your help with the campaign- whether that was helping with a mailing, displaying a lawn sign or talking to your friends and/or family. It has, and continues to warm my heart how much people care. And I am forever grateful for that.
There are about 200 absentee votes to count, but I do not believe there will be enough in my favor to change the overall results.
It has been an honor to serve, and the people have spoken.
I am hoping that you will give me the honor of continuing to be your Town Supervisor.
I have loved the opportunity to use my experience as a budget and planning consultant to bring fiscal responsibility to reduce our town and county tax burden and I am proud of what I have done in the last four years. My focus has been to improve the short and long term health of our community through fiscal management, communication, economic development and empowering others.
Over the last four years, I have worked hard to bring different viewpoints together and find consensus that will benefit everyone. Figuring out the solutions is just the first step. Then it takes persistence and dedication to actually make things happen. I have been fortunate to have had the chance to do as much as I have (especially given the slow process of municipal rules and regulations!) but there is so much more opportunity to keep moving forward.
You deserve strong, independent leadership that will fairly represent you by listening, asking tough questions, and, in the end, the legwork to get things done.
If we haven’t spoken or met yet, I hope we will soon. Please feel free to review the website for more information, and I hope that if you have any questions or concerns, you will contact me directly at 518-672-4511 or email@example.com.
And I hope you will give me a chance to continue to serve you by casting your vote for Robin Andrews in the election on November 5th, 2013.
