"...Claverack residents would be better served by a person who will be proactive and not shy away from asking the tough questions and making sure they all have been answered before formulating a stance."
"...One of the new first time participants was the village of Philmont, and they also took the largest work crew. Trustee Robin Andrews, who initiated the idea and supervised the program for the village, thought having a crew to work on walking trails at the recently acquired land at Summit Heights, would be a good use of a summer work group..."

"The effect of moving the Pine Haven Nursing and Rehabilitation Center would be devastating to Philmont, Village Trustee Robin Andrews told the Board of Supervisors' Pine Haven Committee Tuesday..."

Supervisor Chairman Art Baer (R-Hillsdale) led the Columbia County Supervisors in pushing through the purchase of the Ockawamick school building without much of a plan. The million-dollar+ purchase paves the way for the relocation of DSS, despite concerns from citizens and government personnel. Now they are changing their minds and are not moving DSS, which is good, but now the county owns a $1.5 million building that they don't need and that they've taken off the tax rolls.
